Practice questions and mock tests
Access practice questions and tests through the IELTS Preparation Website.
Most resources are free to access. However, IELTS also offers paid practice tests that are timed and marked by an IELTS expert, for those who are interested in a more realistic mock test. (Mock tests are not offered in person at our centre.)

All candidates who register with IDP get free limited access to an IELTS Macquarie Preparation course.
Choose between the following options:
- 30 days of access to 1 IELTS skill (Reading, Writing, Listening, or Speaking)
- or 4 days of unlimited access to all 4 IELTS skills.
How to access the course: Check your booking confirmation email for a preparation link. You received this email after you paid for your test. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Join a preparation class with ILAC
Under the guidance of ILAC’s expert teachers, this program will help you gain the skills, confidence and techniques needed to take the IELTS test and achieve your desired scores.
ILAC offers the following programs:
- Online adult programs (ages 19+) with ILAC KISS Virtual
In-person adult programs (ages 19+) in Vancouver or Toronto
Online young adult programs (ages 16-18) with ILAC KISS Virtual
In-person young adult programs (ages 16-18) in Vancouver or Toronto
Duration
- Each Course is 8 Weeks in Length
- Students can register for a minimum of 2 weeks
- Students may take as much time as required to complete the program
Key Points
- Students write a practice IELTS test every second week to measure their progress.
- This is an online group class with ILAC KISS Virtual. Study from the comfort of home.
- Students take a placement test before they begin their studies to determine their English level. Contact an ILAC school advisor to get started.
